GM will build more than 100 Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell vehicles for customer testing in this year. Dubbed "Project Driveway", this program will gauge customer experience, and is the first comprehensive market test of passenger car fuel cell vehicles anywhere.
Chevrolet Sequel Concept
The Chevrolet Sequel Concept utilizes hydrogen fuel cells, lithium ion batteries charged via regenerative braking, drive-by-wire controls, and three electric motors to drive the wheels. It travels up to 300 miles between fuel stops and its emissions consist only of water vapor.
